Tammara "Tammy" Hall

County Commissioner, District 4 – encompassing North Fort Myers and North Cape Coral

Tammy Hall was elected to the Lee County Board of Commissioners in November 2004.  In November of 2005 she was elected Chairwoman of the Board of County Commissioners becoming the first woman to chair the board in its 119 year history.  Other accomplishments include:

• Chairwoman of the Lee County Port Authority
• Chairwoman of the Tourist Development Council
• Liaison to Economic Development of the Horizon Council
• Legislative Liaison to the Board of Commissioners
• Liaison to Veterans Affairs
• Member of Metropolitan Planning Organization (past Chairwoman, 2004)

Ms. Hall is also representing the Board of County Commissioners as the liaison to the Regional Stewardship Alliance, a seven county task force looking at regional issues under the leadership of Representative Mike Davis and Florida Gulf Coast President, Bill Merwin.

Before being elected to the Lee County Board of Commissioners, Ms. Hall was a city councilwoman for the City of Fort Myers.  In her four years of public service, she established herself as a compelling leader and championed the formulation and implementation of a new downtown Fort Myers revitalization plan.  Additionally, she took a leadership role in developing strong economic and financial structure to bring back fiscal responsibility to city government.

Much of Ms. Hall's career has been devoted to giving back to her community.  She has served and participated on several non-profit and charitable boards throughout the county, as well as serving on numerous task forces dealing with the growth of our community.

Ms. Hall established her marketing consultant firm Hall & Company in 1994. Her clients have included local businesses, retail establishments, non-for-profit organizations, government, as well as clients in the regional and international markets. 

Ms. Hall grew up in Eagle River Wisconsin.  She has been a Lee County resident since 1978, when she moved here with her family. Her parents Mona and Louis Hall along with one of her four brothers and his two sons also live in Lee County.   She currently resides in Cape Coral with her two Boston Terriers.

Commissioner Hall would like to thank the residents of Lee County for giving her this opportunity to serve them.  She welcomes the opportunity to work with her fellow board members, county staff, and most importantly with the residents to ensure the integrity of our neighborhoods and to protect our community's quality of life.
